Harlow man banned after being stopped for drink-driving in Church Langley

A HARLOW man has been disqualified from driving after being caught in Church Langley.

Melvin Ruston, aged 68, of Pytt Field, Harlow pleaded guilty at Chelmsford magistrates court to the following.

On 30/10/2019 at Harlow drove a motor vehicle, a Pink Suzuki Alto on a public place, namely Church Langley, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in your breath, namely 90 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeded the prescribed limit.

He was also fined £250.00

Ruston was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 14 months.
