HARLOW athlete Danny Raymond is having an impressive winter season as he went under two minutes for the 800 metres for the first time.

Last summer, the Stewards Academy student came fourth in the under-15s national championships with a stunning time of 2.01.87.

Now he is competing in the under-17 category Ann the is definitely stepping up to the mark, especially as he is only fifteen.

At the weekend, Danny, running for Woodford Green grabbed silver at the Southern England Indoor Champs at Lea Valley in a time of 1.59.5.

Danny is a very exciting young prospect and under the guidance of coach, John Stow were will follow his career with great interest.
