A SCHOOL in Harlow has been recognised for its work with young carers.

Harlowbury School based at Watlington Road is part of the Templefields Multi-Academy Trust.

Headteacher, Vicky Early said: “Harlowbury has worked with Essex Young Carers Service over a period of time to improve our support and opportunities for all our young carers.

“The Essex Young Carers Service has supported the staff and school to ensure all young carers are identified and they can access the correct support and resources”.

One of the pupils added: “At Young Carers we learn how to stay safe. I have made friends and had fun”.
