The War of the Worlds set to land at Harlow Library

JOIN illustrator Tom Armstrong and sound artist Chris Adam at Harlow Library on Saturday 21 March for a number of workshops based on HG Wells’ ‘The War of the Worlds’. Written in 1898, this iconic work of science fiction describes the invasion of Earth by a Martian army.
These exciting workshops are suitable for 14+ years. Free of charge, but booking required.
Chris Adam is a sound artist and musician. Participants in the workshop can experience first-hand the chaotic nature of electronic music creation with real instruments and create their own sound art and music based on HG Wells’ famous novel.

Tom Armstrong is a comic artist and illustrator. The workshop will incorporate techniques of creating and illustrating a comic with the creative freedom of the science fiction genre.
