Appeal after men assaulted in shop queue

ESSEX Police is appealing for witness following an altercation yesterday at around 7pm in Colt Hatch, Harlow.

Two men in their 20s were in the queue for the Co-Op when they were approached by a group of three men wearing masks.

All three men were believed to be in their 20s. One of them has been described as wearing a dark blue puffa style jacket that was light blue on the bottom, dark coloured tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

He was wearing a surgical mask.

The group assaulted the two men who were in the queue, they had minor injuries.

We are appealing to anyone who was also in line and saw this incident to please call us on 101 quoting crime reference 42/48050/20.
