ESSEX Police has made a successful application for the continued detention of over a thousand pounds of a Harlow man’s money.

The application was made at Chelmsford magistrates court in March.

The successful application was for further continued detention of seized cash, namely £1,642.09 .

In accordance with section 295 of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.

It was made against Charlie Jewell, aged 21, of Westfield, Harlow

The money will be retained for another three months.
