Princess Alexandra Hospital announce five more deaths due to coronavirus

STATEMENT from Princess Alexandra Hospital
Lance McCarthy, chief executive, for The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust said:
“We can confirm that sadly, five patients, aged between 56 and 92 years old, who had underlying conditions have passed away at The Princess Alexandra Hospital. They had tested positive for COVID-19.
“Our thoughts and condolences remain with the patients’ families and loved ones at this difficult time.”
The following number of deaths were previously announced on the following days:
On Wed April 1st: 8 death.
On Mon March 30th: 9 deaths
On Sat March 28th: 1 death
On Thurs March 26th: 3 deaths
On Mon March 23rd: 1 death
That sadly brings a total of 27.
To let readers know, we have asked PAH if we could have a figure of those patients who have been admitted with coronavirus and survived. In an ideal world, it would be great to get a weekly figure. Naturally, that decision lies with them but we thought we would let yu know we are trying to get a figure.
