Man jailed for defrauding his grandmother

A MAN has been jailed for defrauding his grandmother in Harlow.
Carl Bridgeman, aged 31, of Essex House, Quaker Lane, Waltham Abbey pleaded guilty at Chelmsford magistrates court to the following.
On 01/07/2018 and 01/03/2019 at Harlow committed fraud in that, while occupying a position, namely Grandson, in which you were expected to safeguard, or not to act against, the financial interests of Helen McGovern, you dishonestly abused that position intending thereby to cause loss to Helen McGovern or to expose that person to a risk of loss.
Bridgeman was jailed for six months and fined £115.00.
