THREE men have appeared in court in connection with a burglary in progress at a Harlow business.

Officers responded to the incident at Travis Perkins in East Road shortly before 7.50pm on Thursday 23 April.
Anthony McDonagh, 29, of Exton Avenue, Luton, and Patrick Sweeney, 19, of Gipsy Lane, Irchester, were each charged with attempted burglary. They appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Friday 24 April, where they denied the charges.

Douglas Ward, 31, of no fixed address, was charged with attempted burglary and dangerous driving. He did not enter a plea when he appeared at court the same day.

All three have been remanded in custody to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on Tuesday 26 May.
