Man arrested after police swoop on property in Milwards

Statement from Hertfordshire Constabulary

“No further action will be taken against the arrested man”.

A LARGE number of police officers attended at a property in Harlow on Monday morning.

Two police vans, a police car and a number of forensic units attended at the property in Milwards.

All the officers at the scene were dressed in forensic outfits in a search that took a number of hours.

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: “Officers from Hertfordshire Constabulary attended an address in Milwards, Harlow, yesterday (Monday 4 May) as part of an ongoing investigation.

“A man aged in his 40s was arrested and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

“We are unable to comment further at this time”.

YH understands that the matter was not in relation to a death or counter-terrorism.
