An Essex Police spokesperson said: “We are investigating after a woman reported she had been attacked by someone unknown to her on Friday 15th May on a cycle path near Rushes Mead, Harlow.

“Our enquires are ongoing”.

POLICE have taped off a portion of cycle track in Harlow.

The area is between Tendring Road and Patridge Road in the town.

A solo police officer is guarding the scene.
