Let’s all help Herts and Essex Community Farm

HERTS and Essex Community Farm are unable to host their fantastic range of events due to the continued Covid-19 restrictions and are therefore struggling to raise funds required for essential equipment and other items, vital to the continuation of the project.
The Fold Croft site usually holds a number of popular events particularly in the summer months, including annual music festival Farm Fest, which first started in 2014 and has featured the likes of Billy Lunn, Don’t Worry and Harlow Steel Band.
Other events such as a Cream Tea, Open Weekends with plant sales and the chidren’s Easter Egg hunt have all been cancelled, meaning the main source of income to the community farm has completely dried up. The farm is entirely volunteer-led and relies on events to raise the considerable funds required to supply the site with materials and equipment necessary for growing food for the local community.
In response to the current situation, an Amazon wishlist has been set up with a range of different products suitable for all budgets:

The whole team at the farm are grateful for the support of the local community and look forward to hosting regular events back at the farm when it is safe to do so.
About Herts & Essex Community Farm
Herts & Essex Community Farm is a non-for-profit community project. We started in October 2013 as there was a need in the community for more growing spaces, with the purpose to increase access to fresh, healthy, sustainable food and provide a shared space for people to cultivate skills, get exercise and make friends.
