Harlow man set to stand trial over possession of imitation firearm

A HARLOW man is set to stand trial over possession of an imitation forearm.

Barry Ansell, aged 45, of The Hides, Harlow was charged with the following at Chelmsford magistrates court.

On July 7th at Harlow, had in your possession an imitation firearm, namely Section 1 Firearm, with intent, by means thereof to cause another to believe that unlawful violence would be used against him.

Ansell has been sent for trial on August 5th at Chelmsford Crown Court.

He has been remanded in custody.
