Mind in West Essex’s Mental Health Support Team working with Children, Young People and Families would like to announce their Summer Drawing Challenge!
THE Summer Drawing Challenge will focus on a different aspect of the Five Ways to Wellbeing each week over the summer, and Mind are encouraging all children and young people in Harlow to have a go at joining in!
The art work will be proudly displayed on the team’s social media pages and may be used in the future to help educate children and young people about their mental health and wellbeing.
Under lockdown and the challenges of Covid, children’s mental health has been at the forefront of the nation’s attention and they would like to build on the conversations which have already started, in a fun, engaging and creative way!
The Five Ways to Wellbeing are: Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning & Give. These are five evidence-based strategies which anyone can implement to help improve their mental wellbeing and prevent against poor mental health.
