VJ Day 75: Harlow daughter details what her father endured in Far East

SOMETIMES, it is only when you hear personal testimony of what happened in a war that you get some idea of the horror.
As time marches on and veterans pass away, it is the responsibility of family to carry the burden of history so that generations and future generations never forget.
At this morning’s VJ Day ceremony in Harlow Town Park, Pam Gillespie, a member of the Children of the Far East Veterans, tells us all of the experience that her father, George Leonard Money (1921-2012) endured.
