Man jailed for six months after breaching order not to be in Harlow Market Square

A MAN has been jailed for six months after breaching an order not to be in Harlow Town Centre’s Market Square.
Jack Knight, aged 22, of Greenway House, near Elizabeth Way, Harlow pleaded guilty to the following.
On 10/08/2020 at Harlow in the county of Essex being an individual to whom a community protection notice had been issued, failed to comply with the notice in that he was found to be in Market Square, Harlow which is in breach of his conditions
On 23/08/2020 at Harlow without lawful authority or reasonable excuse, had with you in a public place, namely Market Square, an offensive weapon, namely a screwdriver
On 10/08/2020 at Harlow used threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress thereby
On 23/08/2020 at Harlow in the county of Essex being an individual to whom a community protection notice had been issued, failed to comply with the notice in that suspect attended the MARKET SQUARE in HARLOW, ESSEX and was drunk in public.
Between 09/08/2020 and 09/08/2020 at Harlow in the county of Essex, stole Sausage Rolls, to the value of £6, belonging to Greggs.
Between 10/08/2020 and 10/08/2020 at Harlow , stole Sausage rolls, to the value of £3, belonging to Greggs.
On 23/08/2020 at Harlow in the county of Essex assaulted, an emergency worker, namely a Police Officer, acting in the exercise of his functions as such a worker
Committed to prison for 2 weeks concurrent. Reason: Offence so serious because deferred sentence and not complied with, further offences committed and mandatory custodial sentence imposed. Overall length of sentence 6 months.
