Support 4 Sight Receives Queens Award

UNFORTUNATELY due to the recent COVID related restrictions in place, Support 4 Sight reluctantly had to cancel their reception where they were due to be presented with the 2020 Queens Award for Voluntary Services.

The CEO and Operations Manager of Support 4 Sight were graciously invited to Mrs Jennifer Tolhurst, Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Essex’s home where she presented the official certificate signed by Her Majesty the Queen and a crystal trophy to Support 4 Sight.

Operations Manager, Cheryl Sugarman writes “Despite the sad decision to cancel the event, it was in the best interest to keep everyone safe. The award was received in a safe socially distant place and on behalf of all those involved in the Charity I want to thank you for all the hard work, dedication and commitment to all those involved, not just for the past 25 years but for many years to come”

Support 4 Sight helps those with visual impairments across Essex, helping build the bridges of social isolation, helping teach modern technology use, providing employment needs and helping those with sight loss carry on living a happy independent life.
