THE FOOTBALL Foundation has awarded funding to Harlow Town Football Club.

They announced they were giving Harlow Town FC £7,000 and Harlow Town Ladies F.C. £1,000

A spokesperson said: “This will help them cover the costs of adjustments that need to be made to safely cater for the return of players and supporters to their stadia”.

The Matchday Support Fund is being delivered by the Football Stadia Improvement Fund (FSIF) – the grant-giving body that provides Premier League funding to support ground improvements for clubs in the professional, women’s and non-league games.

Harlow MP Robert Halfon said: “Delighted that Harlow Town and Harlow Town Ladies have been awarded @premierleague funding that helped prepare their stadia for football’s safe return.
