Covid-19: Three positive cases at Passmores Academy

Education: Secondary / Wed 21st Oct 2020 at 08:53am

PASSMORES Academy is also one of a number of schools in Harlow that has had pupils off due to Covid-19.

The chief executive of the Passmores Community Learning Trust, Vic Goddard has written to all parents and guardians. In the letter, he said: “I can confirm that Passmores Academy has had three positive Covid test results since the start of the school year.

“The positive test results were not from the same year or connected to each other and have not led to whole year groups needing to isolate.

Obviously the most important consideration in dealing with the complicated issues that we face is the health and well being of the Harlow community and we remain grateful to the Passmores families for continuing to work with us in the best interests of all young people and staff.

The trust and sense of partnership has been quite remarkable throughout the Covid crisis and we are certain that this will get us through the potentially difficult next few months.

“We hope that everyone effected by Covid a speedy return to full health.
