Harlow man jailed for possessing mobile phone in jail

A HARLOW man has had his jail sentence extended after being found in possession of a phone in prison.

Dylan Davis, aged 21, of HM Prison Chelmsford, pled guilty to the following at Chelmsford magistrates court.
On 11/02/2020 at Chelmsford, without authority possessed inside a prison, namely HMP Chelmsford, a device capable of transmitting or receiving images, sounds or information by electronic communications, namely small mobile phone and charger.
Davis was fined £115.00 and given a two month prison sentence.
