Please support Ryan on his 10K weighted Poppy Run

Charity / Sat 7th Nov 2020 at 08:55am

A HARLOW resident and former member of the armed forces is set to take on a 10K run for charity on Remembrance Sunday.

Ryan Salmon is setting off from the Legion Club at 9.30am on Sunday morning and plans to be at the Netteswell Cross in the town park by 11am and the two minute silence.

Ryan has set up a dedicated page.

On his page, Ryan said:

“I’ve signed up to take part in My Poppy Run 2020.

I’ll be raising funds to support the Royal British Legion.

Their Poppy Appeal was founded to help those in need following a national crisis.

Right now they are helping those who are isolated from family, facing homelessness, struggling to feed their children and are in financial crisis.

They are working tirelessly to ensure that those who have served are being looked after no matter what challenges they, and the country faces.

Your donation will mean they can continue to provide the life-changing support that our Armed Forces community needs and deserves.

Thank y and please give generously
