FOOTBALL star Marcus Rashford has praised Longwood Primary students after they wrote letters to him.
The England and Manchester United star received letters from Year 2 students Amelia, Willow and Charie James in which they thanked him for his work in extending access to Free School Meals.
Their teacher (@maylavelle on Twitter) sent the letters via the social media platform.
Marcus Rashford said: “Morning Amelia, thank you for your letter. I like to help children because I think everybody should have dreams and know that they come true, like mine did. To help you score I would say keep practicing and you will get it right. Have a lovely Sunday. MR x”
Hi Willow, thank you for your letter. I love reading, it’s one of my favourite things to do. It helps me to be calm and to be happy and I learn a lot from reading. Have a lovely Sunday. MR x
