A HARLOW couple are hoping to raise money for the homeless through their dazzling Christmas lights.

Kate and Danny Stephens have put up their decorations outside their house in Parnall Road.

Katie said: “Danny and I are wanting to raise money for charity. We’ve been saying it every year but this year when we put up our Christmas lights up we realised that for a lot of people and families they wouldn’t be able to get the opportunity to celebrate Christmas.

This year has been so tough for millions of people due to Covid-19 but not just Covid-19, there is also everyday issues with people losing their homes, jobs, family, depression, any many more factors with covid-19 on top really hasn’t helped.

So we have decided to raise money for Crisis, the money will go towards the homeless so that they can celebrate Christmas by having a meal and also Crisis will give them a shelter, blankets and care.

For just  £28 one person will be given the experience all of this.

“This year is about supporting and caring for people in need”.
