Pennymead Tower: Man airlifted to hospital after being found with serious head injuries

Statement from Essex Police
WE were called to reports of an assault in Quarry Spring, Harlow, by colleagues in the ambulance service shortly before 6pm on Thursday 28 January.
A man had been found with serious injuries to his head.
He has been taken to hospital by air ambulance where it was confirmed he has suffered a fractured skull.
Our officers remained at the scene overnight and our enquiries will continue today.

ESSEX Police have placed a cordon around Pennymead Tower in Harlow.
Five cars are positioned at strategic points around the tower that is situated off Momples Road.
There wasn’t anyone coming in or out of the tower.
There was a burning smell hanging in the air and one of the garages at the back was open.
