Crime / Fri 5th Feb 2021 at 05:22pm

ESSEX Police are appealing for information after a man sustained a fractured skull in an attack in Harlow.

They were called to reports of a serious assault in Quarry Spring shortly before 6pm on Thursday 28 January.

A man was found with severe injuries to his head. He was taken to Royal London Hospital where it was confirmed he had sustained a fractured skull.

He is being treated in hospital and remains in critical condition.

Three men – two aged 19 and one aged 18 – and a 16-year-old boy have been arrested on suspicion of causing GBH with intent and have been released on bail.

We are now appealing for any witnesses to the assault or anyone who has information on it to come forward and speak to us.

We believe the assault took place in the Harefield area of the town and the victim may have travelled to Quarry Spring before he was found.

“The victim has been left with severe head injuries and remains in a critical condition in hospital.

“There is no detail too small, so if you have any information or saw anything suspicious on Thursday 28 January, please come forward.”

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information on it should submit a report online at https://www.essex.police.uk or use the ‘Live Chat’ button to speak to an online operator between 7am-11pm.
