A HARLOW man has been fined after crashing a car whilst a “female was sat on his lap.

Sonny Rider, aged 19, of Westfield, Harlow pleaded guilty to the following at Chelmsford magistrates court.

On July 20th, 2020 drove a VW Golf in Bush Fair service area, Tilegate Road, Harlow without due care and attention in that he drove around the service area with a female on his lap and then collided with a parked vehicle Black Mercedes E-Class .

Contrary to section 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1988

Rider was fined £170.00 and had five points placed on his licence.
