The Daily Covid-19 Report: Number of cases remains at 50 (no further deaths at PAH)

THIS is our daily Covid report for Harlow. This includes the figures for Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH). The table of 315 local authorities in England and the breakdown of cases for eleven areas of Harlow.

Princess Alexandra Hospital
There has been no further deaths registered at PAH in Harlow.
The number of deaths is now at 532.
There have been 6 deaths in March.
There were 38 deaths in February.
That compares with 170 deaths in January.
There are 13 Covid in-patients including 1 on a ventilator.
There are 146 outstanding test results.
Back on January 4th, there was 204 Covid in patients.

The number of cases has remained at 50.
It was at 43 on Tuesday but the subsequent rise could be to do with mass testing in schools.
It does look like Harlow is stuck around the 50 mark. Who is to say it won’t remain there.

This means there are 59.7 cases per 100,000. This is a decrease of 2.0% decrease from seven days ago.
That is the lowest rate since October 8th, 2020.
This figure relates to March 8th and reported on March 13th.
Harlow is 120th out of 315 local authorities.
It is the highest in Essex. Next highest is Brentwood at 126th to Uttlesford at 245th.
The Harlow Breakdown
THE INFECTION rate has gone down in three out of eleven areas of Harlow.
It went up in three and stayed the same in five.
There were 50 cases registered for March 8th and published on March 13th.
The lowest areas are Church Langley and Mark Hall with zero.
The highest area is Little Parndon and Hare Street with 14.

The statistics are as follows:

Aged 80 and above: 3,583
A total of 2,224 in the past week. That is an average of 317 a day.
