Well we did it again!
ON 13th March the team at Lister Health Centre – led by Dr Jey, the Primary Care Network staff, Stellar Healthcare, the Wonderful Volunteers (front staff, security guards, cleaners, guides, the vaccinators and consenters) undertook one of the most ambitious days so far – to vaccinate over 1600 people – our so called ‘Super Saturday’.
The day started at 7.30am with a kickoff scheduled for 8.00am and full on vaccinating until 8.30pm with 50 minute break at lunch time. It was tough, demanding, back breaking but worth it to see so many people so delighted and relieved to have had their vaccine – with some folk even leaving the room with tears of joy in their eyes!
Again it was great to hear so many people praise the wonderful Lister Health Centre facility built by Harlow Health Centres Trust (https://hhct.org.uk/) and the smoothness of the operation from booking right down to the way people were guided, advised and eventually vaccinated.

As usual the team at Lister were professional, helpful, reassuring and calm despite the work-load and it was lovely to see the kind words from Councillor Russell Perrin acknowledging the efforts of the team https://twitter.com/CllrPerrin/status/1370736110838689792?s=09
Next weekend we will be undertaking a Super Long Weekend with clinics being run Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
But have no fear, the Lister Team will deliver – as I have to say they are one of the best multi-disciplinary teams I have ever worked with!
