A HARLOW resident is set to stand trial over a racially aggravated offence and possession of an offensive weapon.

Danielle O’Sullivan, aged 37 of Terminus House, Harlow has been charged with the following.

On 12/08/2020 at Harlow had with you, without good reason or lawful authority, in a public place of Wedhey, Harlow an article which had a blade or was sharply pointed, namely a kitchen knife.

On 12/08/2020 at Harlow with intent to cause another harassment, alarm or distress used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour thereby causing that or another person harassment, alarm or distress and the offence was racially aggravated.

On 12/08/2020 at Harlow, with intent to cause another harassment, alarm or distress, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour, thereby causing that person or another harassment, alarm or distress.

A trial date has been set of Tuesday April 6th at Chelmsford Crown Court.

O’Sullivan has pleaded not guilty and has elected trial by jury.
