The Daily Covid-19 Report: Harlow down to 44 cases (and no deaths at PAH for five days)

THIS is our daily Covid report for Harlow. This includes the figures for Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH). The table of 315 local authorities in England and the breakdown of cases for eleven areas of Harlow.

Finally, we also have the weekly number of people vaccinated in Harlow.

We have a dedicated Covid-19 channel which has over 1200 stories.



Princess Alexandra Hospital

There has been no further deaths registered at PAH in Harlow.

The number of deaths is now at 532.

There have been 6 deaths in March.

There have been no deaths in the past five days.

That compares to 24 in first 14 days of February and 94 in first 14 days of January.

There were 38 deaths in February.

That compares with 170 deaths in January.

There are 13 Covid in-patients including 1 on a ventilator.

There are 146 outstanding test results.

Back on January 4th, there was 204 Covid in patients.


Local Authority Table

The number of cases has dropped to 44.

Last nine days: 53,52,44,43,44,51,50,50, 46 and 44.

This means there are 54.0 cases per 100,000. This is a decrease of 2.0% decrease from seven days ago.

That is the lowest rate since October 8th, 2020.

This figure relates to March 10th and reported on March 15th.

Harlow is 130th out of 315 local authorities.

It is the second highest in Essex. Highest is Basildon at 116th to Uttlesford at 287th.


The Harlow Breakdown

THE INFECTION rate has gone down in two out of eleven areas of Harlow.

It went up in none and stayed the same in nine.

There were 44 cases registered for March 10th and published on March 15th.

The lowest areas are Church Langley, Great Parndon and Mark Hall with zero.

The highest area is Little Parndon and Hare Street with 12.

Week Ending: March 11th

The statistics are as follows:

Under 60: 10,436

Aged 60-64: 2,692

Aged: 65-69: 3,572

Aged 70-74: 3,229

Aged 75-79: 2,317

Aged 80 and above: 3,583

Total: 25,879

A total of 2,224 in the past week. That is an average of 317 a day.

Our sources tells us that there is set be a big push from Monday March 15th.
