Teenager sent to detention centre after stabbing taxi driver in Harlow

A TEENAGE boy has been sent to a youth detention centre after pleading guilty to stabbing a taxi driver in Harlow.
The sixteen-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons pleaded guilty to the following at Chelmsford Magistrates court.

On January 9th at Harlow, assaulted a male, thereby occasioning him, actual bodily harm
On January 9th at Harlow had with you, without good reason or lawful authority, in a public place The Rundells, Harlow an article which had a blade or was sharply pointed, namely a lock knife.
The teenager was made subject to a detention and training order made for four months.
He was also fined £200.00
