AT Stewards Academy we are proud to announce the signing of no less than three talented footballers! The three boys, who all belong to the same tutor group, have been lifelong friends, and are now well on the way to achieving their dreams. 

Caleb Ansen was signed by Norwich as a goalkeeper; he has decided to move to Norwich and attend their academy to continue his studies. 

West Ham confirmed they have signed Southend youngster Justin Osagie. David Moyes has clearly seen something impressive about the teenager midfielder. So, fingers crossed that he goes on to become a top-class player in the famous claret and blue. 

Finally, we have Ben Noruwa who is currently playing for Bishop Stortford U15s, also making an appearance for the U16s. Ben said, “I am grateful for everyone who has helped me and supported me along the way, believing in me to achieve what I have so far.” 

Assistant Headteacher Mark Harman said… 

“Having taught Justin, Caleb, and Ben, it is fantastic to see all three young men doing so well at their respective clubs. Not only are they dedicated to their sport, but they are also dedicated to their studies. They all show a great amount of respect and maturity that will hold them in good stead for the future. I hope to see them playing at a professional level one day and wish them all the best.”
