The Daily Covid-19 Report: Number of cases remains at 47 (no deaths at PAH for nine days)

THIS is our daily Covid report for Harlow. This includes the figures for Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH). The table of 315 local authorities in England and the breakdown of cases for eleven areas of Harlow.
Finally, we also have the weekly number of people vaccinated in Harlow.

Princess Alexandra Hospital
There has been no further deaths registered at PAH in Harlow.
The number of deaths remains at 533.
There have been 7 deaths in March.
There has been no deaths in the past nine days.
That compares to 36 in first 26 days of February and 160 in first 26 days of January.
There were 38 deaths in February.
That compares with 170 deaths in January.
There are 10 Covid in-patients including 1 on a ventilator.
There are 235 outstanding test results.
Back on January 4th, there was 204 Covid in patients.

Local Authority Table
The number of cases has increased stayed at 47.
Last ten days: 47, 49, 49, 44, 42, 43, 42, 48, 43, 46 and 47.
This means there are 54.0 cases per 100,000. This is an increase of 12.0% from seven days ago.
The rise could be down to more testing as a number of school pupils have been reported as testing positive.
That is still the lowest rate since October 8th, 2020.
This figure relates to March 21st and reported on March 26th.
Harlow is 126th out of 315 local authorities.
It is the second highest in Essex. The lowest is Maldon at 307th

THE INFECTION rate has gone down in two out of eleven areas of Harlow.
It went up in four and stayed the same in five.
The lowest areas are Netteswell, Potter Street and Great Parndon with zero.
The highest area is Old Harlow and Newhall with 12.
