WATERHOUSE Moor residents have launched a petition in response to growing concerns regarding speeding motorists.

A number of the roads have been described as notorious rat runs and it looks like things are getting worse.

The road runs in between Tendring Road and Tripton Road.

The petition states:

Recently regular Speeds , well in excess of the 30MPH LIMIT, have been observed and we are seeking support for a reduction to 20 MPH.

Speeding vehicles of 45/50MPH are not uncommon and the fastest estimated speed recently was in the region of 65/70MPH, hence the reason for raising this Petition.
