A TEENAGER is due in court next week charged with drugs and weapons offences.

Officers had responded to reports of a group of people in possession of weapons, including a large knife in the School Lane area of Harlow at around 4.20pm on Sunday 28 March.

Following a foot chase a 16 year-old boy was arrested.

He has been charged with possession of a knife in a public place, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, possession with intent to supply cocaine possession with intent to supply cannabis, and affray.

He is next due to appear at Southend Youth Court on Tuesday 6 April.
