Harlow Rugby Club smash fund-raising target (and they are not stopping there)

JUST a few short weeks ago, Harlow Rugby Club started an appeal to raise funds for the club.
Like all sports organisations, things have not been easy and especially a club, that not so long ago had just moved into their wonderful grounds at Latton Park.
They set the target at £30,000. Some thought that was a bit ambitious but they made it.
It is testament to the community spirit down at the club.
Club President Alan Price said: “Wow! We set an initial target of £30,000 and we’ve achieved that together in less than three weeks.
“What an amazing group of friends and supporters we have here at HRUFC. This will now enable us to get the pitches ready for games, deep clean and put up signage etc. needed for reopening.
“We are carrying on with the appeal so that we can light up the path to the upper pitches and replace the lighting in main car park.
“Many, many thanks to all who have donated or pledged so far.
“Still room left for more bricks on the Rams Wall. Shows what team work is all about”.
