A MAN has been charged with causing unnecessary suffering to a horse in Harlow.
Carl Knowles, aged 28, of Halbutt Street, Dagenham has been charged with the following.
Between December 12th and December 14th, 2020 at Fern Hill Lane, Harlow, caused unnecessary suffering to a protected animal, namely pony known as Max by a failure to act, namely failure to ensure that the said animal received appropriate veterinary care for its poor condition would have that effect or be likely to contrary to s.4(1) of the Animal Welfare act 2006, and you knew or ought reasonably to have known that the failure would have that effect or be likely to do so.
