The Harvey Centre launches LOVE LOCAL campaign

THE Harvey Centre, Harlow is helping its retailers bounce back by launching a LOVE LOCAL campaign, encouraging the people of Harlow to shop local and help to support local retailers whose businesses may have been affected in recent months.

The Harvey Centre has a diverse range of stores, services and eateries all under one roof including big brand names such as Primark, Wilko, Poundland, Tesco, Holland and Barrett, Game, Superdrug as well as a large offering of independent retailers including The Party Monster, Georgi, Stylo, Phoenix Resource Centre and Marquee Models, and independent service providers such as Rose Opticians, Harvey Nails, Legends, Nail Bar, PC Fix and Simply Brows.

For those wanting to grab a bite to eat during their visit, there’s plenty of places to choose from including Subway, BBs, Burger King, Couzens Bakery and Coffee Lounge. All eateries will be able to reopen for indoor dining as well as takeaway as of Monday 17th May. Cineworld are also gearing up to re-open its doors in May.

Bryan Young, Centre Manager at The Harvey Centre said, “Recent events and research have shown that people want to support their towns and shop locally to minimise unnecessary travel. Through our LOVE LOCAL campaign, we hope to inspire people in a positive and reassuring way to champion local businesses and retailers, many of which have encountered challenging times due to the lockdown.”
