Long Ley: Man left with “significant facial injuries” after attack

ESSEX Police are investigating after a man was left with significant facial injuries following an assault in Harlow.
It was reported the victim, a man is his 50s, had been approached by a group of men in the Long Ley area at around 9.45pm on 11 May.
He was then struck to the face with a metal pole leaving him with significant facial injuries.
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
A police spokesperson said: “We are working to establish why the man had been assaulted and are enquiries are ongoing.
“We need anyone who saw anything or has any CCTV, dash cam or doorbell footage to contact us”
