Man charged with allowing wedding reception with up to 100 guests at the Pink Spice restaurant

A MAN has been charged with breaching Covid regulations by allowing a wedding reception to take place at a restaurant in Harlow.

Ali Muhin, aged 48, of Scarborough Street, London has been charged with the following.

On November 3rd, 2020, Ali Muhin, without reasonable or lawful excuse other than is permitted by the regulations, breached the COVID-19 restrictions, used the premises of the Pink Spice, Harlow to hold/involved in holding a wedding reception which had between 80 and 100 people in attendance within a Tier 2 area.

Contrary to regulation 5(1)(a) and (2) and paragraph 3(1), (4) of Schedule 1 to the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Local COVID-19 Alert Level) (High) (England) Regulations 2020.

Case management is set to take place on June 1st.
