Jack Petchey Awards for St Mark’s students

A NUMBER of St Mark’s students have been recognised for their achievements at school with Jack Petchey Awards.

April 2021 – Jorens

Reason for Award: ‘Jorens always participates in complex topics during lessons and is not afraid to speak out about what he believes in. He has been a part of the School Council for 2 years and is always looking out for his peers. He is always very cheerful during classes and helps his teachers to hand out folders and books for the lessons.’

May 2021 – Dione

Reason for Award: ‘Dione has worked very hard during the Pandemic and National lockdown she maintained a high level of work activity throughout this difficult time. She always helps other pupils with extra work after school when needed. Dione dedicated her own time to helping the elderly in Care Homes and also donates to various charities.’

June 2021 – Jonathan

Reason for Award: ‘Jonathan consistently works hard and is an excellent role model for the younger pupils. He partakes in extracurricular activities to further his understanding of his subjects. Jonathan is a student ambassador as a member of the School Council. He is always willing to help others with their work.’
