A GP surgery in Harlow has been recognised with a Hidden Heroes award.
The award has been given to Nuffield House based at The Stow in Harlow.
The award is for “outstanding performance during the Covid-19 pandemic”
Practice Manager, Yvonne Pope said: “This award is for each and every member of staff.
“We are very proud that we have remained open during the pandemic and our service to the community.
“It is all about team work and working for each other to the benefit of the patients.
“We didn’t know that we had been nominated!.
The awards were established by four Companies who are playing a key role in Supporting General Practice with the pandemic: Dene Healthcare, Gama Healthcare, Interface Clinical Services and Practice Index.
I’m pleased the team were awarded with something but it’s absolutely disgusting that the government won’t award these professionals for their efforts. Instead spending billions on non-required items such as warships, useless technologies and weaponry. Seems the government is more focused on killing then it is on saving lives. Shame. Since the people we vote in confidence that they’ll do the right thing offen reveal their true colours within the moment their foot steps across the threshold of power.
