Stewards Academy students enjoy hot chocolate Friday with headteacher

Education: Secondary / Thu 8th Jul 2021 at 10:52am

STUDENTS at Stewards Academy have been rewarded for their hard work and diligence by being invited (with a friend) to have either a Hot Chocolate or, in the recent warmer weather, a chocolate milkshake with the Headteacher during morning break.

Students have been nominated by their tutors for a multitude of reasons including recognition of their efforts to meet the weekly Foundation Focus or for particularly good work in and around the school.  At Stewards we believe that success should be recognised and celebrated, with every success story helping students become more self-confident and encouraging them to achieve further success.

Helen Ginger (Headteacher) said: “Hot Chocolate Friday has quickly become one of the highlights of the week for me. Having the opportunity to celebrate the hard work and achievements of pupils on a weekly basis, and also to serve smiling faces with whippy cream and marshmallows is such a joy! “
