Man charged with assault, threats and possession of offensive weapon in Pittmans Field

A HARLOW man has been charged with assault, making threats and being in possession of a baseball bat.
Damien Grant, aged 47, of Whitewaits, Harlow has been charged with the following.
On 07/02/2021 at Harlow without lawful authority or reasonable excuse, had with you in a public place, namely Pittmansfield Harlow, an offensive weapon, namely a baseball bat.
On 07/02/2021 at Harlow assaulted a male by swinging a bat at him and making threats.
On 07/02/2021 at Harlow assaulted a male by swinging a bat at him and making threats.
On 17/02/2021 at Pittmansfield, Harlow used threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress thereby
Grant has been bailed with a next appearance at Chelmsford magistrates court set for August 23rd.
