A HARLOW man has been fined for driving through a police cordon.
Luke Wykes, aged 32, of The Gardiners, Harlow pleaded guilty to the following.
On September 16th, 2020 at Harlow drove a Vauxhall Corsa on a road, namely Clock Tower roundabout on the A414 without due care and attention.
The court heard that Wykes drove without due care and attention in that he broke a police cordon set on the round about driving through the scene of a road traffic incident, was told to stop by PCSO in uniform but purposely drove around the marked police car.
Wykes was fined £300 and given three penalty points.

TO ANY OF THE 12 READERS OF THIS PUBLICATION THAT CARE FOR ANY REAL FACT. CORRECTIONS TO THE ABOVE. I did not plead guilty. The court also heard that there was no real police cordon to break, when pressed on this, the officer did confirm that I moved no cones nor left the pubic highway to 'break' a cordon. The officer that suggested that I had spoken to her had to admit that she did not recognise me or my car, in fact suggested I was driving a white BMW. She was also stationed at a part of the roundabout that I did not pass which was evidenced by my journey plan. Justice was not served on this day. Despite the judge telling me it was a fair trial and that he would not simply take the word of one party over another, that is exactly what happened. Zero evidence linked me to the police officers reports which were evidently factually incorrect. Mr Casey and Your Harlow would rather continue to leave this information posted, without correction, despite my contact and having been made ware of the stress and aggravation caused.
