A FAMILY feud resulted in an ill-fated armed heist at a Bristol home.
An elderly man, women and children were terrified when two balaclava-clad men, brandishing at least one revolver, burst into their home in December last year reports The Bristol Post.
But instead of stealing a supposed stash of cash, the intruders fled with just a mobile phone and were stopped by armed police on the M4 near Swindon.
Dieudonne Boison, 20, of Chobham Road in London, and Jack Sullivan, 18, of Chapel Fields in Harlow, both pleaded guilty to aggravated burglary and possessing an imitation firearm to cause fear.
