Update: Statement from Essex Police

We are investigating an incident at an address off Hamstel Road, Harlow, in which a van was driven into a car and the front of a house.

It was reported shortly after 5.15am on Saturday 28 August.   

Enquiries remain ongoing.

ESSEX Police are guarding a scene at a house (0830 hrs) on Hodings Road in Harlow.

There appears to be some form of structural damage at the front of the semi-detached house in a road just around the corner from Princess Alexandra Hospital.

A small blue car is in the driveway with damage to its front and rear.

We have not had any reports of any injury to date.

YH has contacted the relevant press offices and am awaiting a response.
