PHIL Barrow at their funeral home in Old Harlow was delighted to sponsor and buy a shield for a new bowls event at Old Harlow Bowls Club.

The Annie Bull Memorial Shield will be played annually and is a fun day. Competitors were invited to wear fancy dress when bowling, and at the same time raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support.

Annie was a much loved member of the Club for a long time. The amount raised has yet to be finalised, but they shall be adding the amount raised at our recent coffee morning and donating the joint total to Macmillan cancer support in Annie’s memory.
