Bluebird celebrate Professional Care Workers Week in Harlow

BLUEBIRD Care Redbridge, Epping & Harlow, a leading home care provider, have recently marked Professional Care Workers’ Week 2021 by rewarding their fantastic team members with ‘thank you’ pamper packs and a complimentary lunch.
Professional Care Workers’ Week is an annual event that has been run by The Care Workers’ Charity for the past two years and carries great significance. Taking place from 6th – 10thSeptember, it provides a platform for people to share best practice, their experiences, and have discussions about the future of social care, workforce maintenance and growth, and technologies in the sector.
And in celebration of this year’s awareness week, Care Assistants at Bluebird Care Redbridge, Epping & Harlow have been rewarded with ‘thank you’ pamper packs and complementary lunches in appreciation of their incredible efforts.
This show of gratitude carries even more weight considering the challenges presented because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the face of much uncertainty and danger, the frontline team at Bluebird Care Redbridge, Epping & Harlow have continued to go above and beyond for the needs of their customers during the past year.
With unwavering dedication towards the care and support of others, on numerous occasions the team at Bluebird Care Redbridge, Epping & Harlow have displayed heroism unmatched by many.
Now, following what was one of the most difficult moments for those within the care sector, the team have been able to find a minute in between care visits to be congratulated and honoured for all their hard work.
Speaking on her gift, Karin Venter, Senior Home Care Assistant at Bluebird Care Redbridge, Epping & Harlow, said:
“It was so nice to receive this recognition and see my fellow carers!”

“Our team have worked incredibly hard this past year, and beyond! They continue to amaze us, providing exceptional care to our customers and doing anything and everything to support them. It’s great that we have occasions to celebrate these individuals and commemorate their great work. I hope everybody enjoyed the pamper packs and lunch, you deserve it!”
