CHILDREN at Jerounds have been lucky enough to receive virtual visits from a number of prestigious authors over the course of autumn term.

On 19th November, year 3 and 4 video-called with the hilariously brilliant Jeff Kinney, author of Diary of a Wimpy Kid. They were lucky enough to receive a preview of his new book, ‘Big Shot’ along with taking part in an activity (all whilst splitting their sides with laughter).

This visit was preceded on the 12th November with a virtual visit from the iconic author Jacqueline Wilson for years 4, 5 and 6, during which she shared details of events which have inspired her writing and snippets of her newest book ‘The Primrose Children’.

KS1 are eagerly awaiting meeting Nick Sharratt to hear his new book ‘Oh No! Shark in the Snow!’.
